Positive Changes in 2016: Part 2

Continuing our reflection series, Halverson Northwest Law Group is proud to have welcomed another former HNW summer intern, Yuridia Equihua, to our ranks—as well as the ranks of the Washington State Bar Association!

Ms. Equihua received her undergraduate degree in Political Science, and Law, Societies and Justice from the University of Washington, followed by her Law degree from the University of Idaho. While attending the University of Idaho she was a part of the Main Street Law Clinic, which represents clients in a wide variety of cases including misdemeanor defense, family law, consumer protection and landlord tenant disputes. This year Ms. Equihua passed the Washington State Bar exam, successfully capping these years of study and hard work.

Ms. Equihua was born and raised in the Lower Yakima Valley, graduating from Granger High School, so she has an excellent understanding of our community and connections with the area. Her maturity and calm demeanor help put clients at ease. Ms. Equihua works primarily out of our busy Sunnyside office, and her fluency in Spanish often proves critical for effective legal representation in our region.
