James Goodman joined Halverson Northwest in 2020, practicing primarily from our Sunnyside, WA office. James’ professional experience includes assisting clients in real estate transactional matters, business formation and transactional matters, and estate and legacy planning. A New York native, James arrived in the Yakima Valley by way of Spokane where he interned at the City Attorney’s Office for the City of Spokane and worked his final law school semester as a Rule 9 Licensed Legal Intern for the Spokane City Prosecutor. After law school, James worked as a law clerk at Eowen Rosentrater Attorneys. James received his Bachelor of Science from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA and completed his law degree at Vermont Law School.
Before law school, James worked in forestry throughout the Southwest United States doing invasive species removal, forest fire prevention, and trail building within National Parks, National Forests, and other public lands.
